About Bixler’s Jewelers
Since the Birth Of Our Nation... A Rich Tradition And Famous Heritage
Bixler's Jewelers has the distinction of being America's oldest jewelers. Revolutionary War veteran Christian Bixler III opened what would ultimately become the first Bixler’s Jewelers, a jewelry store in Easton, Pennsylvania back in 1785.
We attribute our success as jewelers over the last 223 years to a painstaking dedication to our customers. The word ‘customers’ actually seems so rude and impersonal to us, since we have always felt more like a big extended family and special friends. Then again, it’s easy to get close to people when you’re helping them commemorate the special moments in their lives.
For over two centuries, we have been bringing you the best of both worlds – the best diamond values in town as well an incredible line-up of today’s top jewelry designers. Names like David Yurman, Roberto Coin, Simon G, John Hardy and a wonderful collection of luxury watch brands.
And, thanks to our longstanding relationship with the Fischler Diamond Company in Antwerp, Belgium, we are able to offer you better diamonds for less money. This is based on our special ability to buy diamonds direct from their manufacturing and trading base, keeping the chain of distribution to a minimum. The result: We offer you the best combination of price and quality within driving distance.
Plus, would you believe that six generations later the business is still in the Bixler family? The truth is, that Christian Bixler’s great-great-great granddaughter, Joyce Welken, remains actively involved in day-to-day operations to preserve the Bixler legacy.
Located near Allentown, PA, the Whitehall jewelry store includes a David Yurman gallery with a 15' ceiling, floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, and cherry cases. While our historical downtown Easton Town Center location still uses the original cases and includes a giftware department, a baby department and luxury watch brand.
