BIXLER'S UNIQUE APPROACH TO DIAMONDS

Sparkling diamonds symbolizing the 4 C’s and Bixler’s added focus on sustainable, conscious craftsmanship.

Beyond the 4 C’s

For generations, the 4 C’s, color, cut, clarity, and carat have defined diamond excellence. At Bixler’s, we boldly add a 5th C: Consciousness. How a diamond is manufactured into a piece is crucial to ensuring a sustainable future for the fine jewelry industry.Inside our certified sustainable atelier, we proudly utilize renewable energy and repurposed materials to elevate our rare and natural diamonds to reflect the purity of our process.

Cut

The cut of a diamond refers to the design and craftsmanship utilized to transform a “raw” diamond found in the earth into a precious gemstone. The proportion and arrangement of the diamond crystal facets are key to unlocking a stone’s true potential. Diamond cut has the biggest impact on a diamond’s sparkle, even more so than carat weight.

Colored Diamonds

Diamonds can form naturally in various colors: blue, green, pink, yellow, orange, red. The richer the color, the rarer it is, as opposed to white diamonds where the absence of color is most desired.

Colored Gemstones

The richer the hue, the higher the value. Our colored gemstones do not come from a typical gem market. They are naturally sourced in their raw, pure form and personally selected by Bixler’s CEO, Perry Sporn.

Clarity

Clarity Clarity refers to cracks, blemishes, or "inclusions" visible within a gemstone. While clarity grades provide a guideline, they can sometimes be misleading. For example, two stones with the same SI (Slightly Included) grade can look very different; one may appear stunning to the naked eye, while the other may seem weak.Ultimately, how a diamond looks in person is what truly matters.

Carat

Carat is a unit of measurement that determines a diamond's weight. A single carat weighs 200mg. But carat weight is not equal to size. A diamond's cut and shape can make it appear larger than its carat weight suggests.
