During an internal meeting with Bixler’s CEO, Perry Sporn, I mentioned that I had recently seen The Devil Wears Prada 2. Perry paused the discussion to share that her niece, Jessie, had been working behind the scenes on the film as part of the costume and styling department.
That moment perfectly reflected what Bixler’s stands for: quiet excellence, strong foundations, and meaningful work happening behind the scenes. We believe great brands are not built through noise or showmanship, but through consistency, talent, and collective effort.
Jessie’s journey is a reflection of that spirit.
“I interned at Bixler’s in 2016 while studying entertainment business, knowing I wanted a career in the arts. Since 2022, I’ve worked as a costume assistant on film and television projects, including And Just Like That… and most recently The Devil Wears Prada 2. Working on such an iconic film was an incredible experience, and many of the skills I learned at Bixler’s helped prepare me for the role on DWP2, I managed jewelry inventory and worked closely with jewelry PR firms across New York City as a primary jewelry assistant in the costume office. Being part of the sequel to my favorite movie, and a piece of fashion history was truly unforgettable.” - Jessie Sporn
